In Transcarpathia, a woman and a child were injuried in a fire

On May 26, at 01:13, the rescue service of Transcarpathia was reported about a fire in a one-story residential building, located on Holovna Street in the village of Bushtyno in Tyachiv district.

The fire originated in the kitchen, where at that time, there was a girl who is the owner’s granddaughter. Her sister, who was in the adjacent room, grabbed her 7-year-old daughter and ran outside. The woman and the child suffered I-II degree burns of legs. An ambulance took them to Tyachiv district hospital.

Meanwhile, a crew of the 8th state fire and rescue unit of Tyachiv arrived at the scene. At 01:57, the fire was eliminated. The fire had destroyed windows, doors and household goods on an area of ​​about 70 square meters.

The cause of the fire will be established by law enforcement authorities.
