In Transcarpathia, a paraglider crashed to death

The accident occurred on the eve of the new year.

According to Mukachevo.net, January 1, 2014, at 21.00, a doctor of Rakhiv District Hospital reported that on the same day, January 1, at 18.10, a sole proprietor from Vinnytsya with a diagnosis of open head injury had died in the intensive care unit of Rakhiv District Hospital.

The investigative team, during the questioning of the brother of the deceased, who is an unemployed 27-year-old resident of Kyiv, found out that on December 28, 2013 at 12.20 they both had climbed up the Stig Mt. in the Dragobrat tract with the intention to make a flight by glider. When the brothers were unfurling the glider, a strong wind blast lifted one of them into the air, and having flown about 50 meters he fell down to the ground. Approaching the brother, the man saw that his head was bleeding.

The victim was hospitalized in the intensive care unit of Rakhiv district hospital. The corpse of the man was sent for forensic examination.
