In Transcarpathia, 33 illegal gas stations will be shut down

According to available information, currently there are 33 gas stations illegally selling fuel in Transcarpathia. They are already being checked by investigative teams composed of officers of the SBU, prosecutors and tax officials. It was decided to establish in the districts working groups similar to the regional one, which will objectively and in the shortest possible time analyze the work of all gas stations and make decisions on the shutdown of illegal ones with dismantling and confiscation of fuel.
– The work on the shutdown of illegal gas stations in the region will be completed in the shortest possible time, as it was done with gambling establishments. For this purpose, we will employ the capabilities and efforts of all law enforcement and control bodies, SES and the authorities, – Oleksiy Hetmanenko stressed. – Then, we will make sure the closed gas stations will never reopen. The sale of fuel in Transcarpathia will be carried out solely on a legal basis and if anyone hopes that they can "make a deal" and continue to work illegally, they are very much mistaken. The sale of fuel will be properly controlled.
