In the regional library, they told about the oportunities to study in the USA

Recently, the Window on America Resource Center in the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted a presentation and discussion on education opportunities in the United States.

For some reason, we think that only children of wealthy parents can study abroad, as it is quite expensive for an average Ukrainian student.And studying in the United States of America is something one can only dream about. The coordinator of the EducationUSA Advisory Center (Kyiv) Nellie Petlik helped to break the stereotypes.

“Unfortunately, very few people know about the opportunities for Ukrainian youth to study in the United States. However, in fact, there are many. There are specific exchange program for everyone from 8-10 grade students to young professionals. The purpose of our EducationUSA Center is to provide accurate and impartial information about all the accredited higher education in the United States, and to advise on admission to colleges and universities in the United States,” – Ms. Nellie said.

During the presentation, Ms. Nellie talked not only about education opportunities in the States, but also about student life there. Participation in various clubs, volunteering, sports, art circles are just some of the fun things about a student life in America. The presentation was also attended by American students. The girls told about their universities and their student life.
