October 2 at 13:40, Uzhgorod rescuers were reported about a fire on Uzhanska Street (near the Roma settlement). The epicenter of the fire was a house that belongs to a local 40-year-old resident.
Fire-fighters of the 15th State Fire and Rescue Unit arrived at the scene. At 14:00, they localized the fire, and at 15:30 eliminated it. Fire-fighting was complicated by dense housing in the area. Fire-fighters took out of the burning building a gas cylinder without letting it explode. The fire destroyed the roof of the house (75 sq. m.), windows, and household items. The façade of
the house and interior partitions were also damaged. The damage caused by the fire and its cause is under investigation.
There were no victims in the fire – the Office of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region reported.
