In PADIYUN, they celebrated “Christmas in languages of friends” (PHOTOS)

"Christmas in languages of friends" is a holiday that every year brings together dozens of countrymen who know about the celebration of this holiday not only in Ukraine, but also know how Hungarians, Slovaks, Germans and others celebrate it.

The main participants of the event are students of foreign language clubs of the Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity "PADIYUN." For the first time the holiday was held on the big stage. And for the first time, they were telling about the tradition of celebrating Christmas in Czech. At the beginning of this year, the Czech language club was opened in the institution. 70 kids participated in the celebration, they were reciting poems, singing songs and carols, and it was very interesting to see performances where children were demonstrating the traditions of celebrating Christmas in countries whose languages ​​they study.  "Children are not actors, but they speak foreign languages fluently ​​- this is the feature of the event. They, along with the parents, are eager to learn European languages ​​- and it is pleasing" – the head of the Department of Communications and Public Relations of the PADIYUN Svitlana Lukacs said.
