In Mukachevo, at the market, during an argument, sellers were using knives and buyers – guns

– Nothing boded trouble, it was a normal working day at the market. And then I heard noise, screams, and then a shot. I looked out. I saw the fight and pressed the "alarm" button, – one of the guards of Mukachevo market describes the events of the day on May 12.

On that day, two vendors were taken to hospital with injuries caused by traumatic weapons. It turned out that in Mukachevo, around 19.00, a scandal between the sellers of fruits and visitors of market arose. For a few minutes buyers and sellers were arguing and soon started a fight, during which, according to preliminary indormation, the sellers were using a knife.

However, the other participants of the incident had a gun that they used. Witnesses of the incident, seeing that the quarrel had escalated into a shooting, immediately pressed the "alarm" button. A few minutes later, policemen arrived at the scene. However, the incicdent by then was over. The policemen saw near the trade pavilion two men with injuries presumably caused by traumatic weapons. Wasting no time, the policemen provided victims first aid and called an ambulance.

The investigative team of Mukachevo Police Department and crews of the patrol police also arrived at the scene. During questioning of witnesses, it was found out that a group of persons involved in the incident had arrived at the scene in a car "Skoda" of a dark color. The plan "Interception" was announced.

Currently, the police are working on the identification of the perpetrators of the incident. The investigation continues. The victims are in hospital, their condition is not grave.
