September 7-8, in the village of Izky in Mizhhirya district, there will be the festival-fair of honey, cheese and wine "Vintage of Carpathian Health."
The holiday will be accompanied by musicians, trembita and drymba tunes.
The celebration will begin with the return of shepherds from the meadows.
The festival guests will be able to taste different varieties of goat and sheep cheese, to try and buy products from sheep’s milk, cheese, to enjoy Transcarpathian banosh and soup that will be cooked for you in the open, to see and buy a variety of Transcarpathian souvenirs and handicrafts made of wool, to taste dishes of Hutsul cuisine and experience the true flavor of Hutsul land.
Transcarpathian winemakers and beekeepers will demonstrate the products of their farms. Holiday guests will be warmly welcomed with a glass of wine, honey and mead.Visitors of the festival will be be able to buy drinks, bee products, cheese and souvenirs at reasonable prices.
A lot of bee products will be presented – different varieties of honey, honey infusions, mead and beeswax.
Beekeepers will talk about their sweet craft and treat guests with honey.
The grand conclusion of the festival is the inflammation of campfire.
Also, visitors will be able to learn more about the culture and tradition of cheese and wine making, visit the fair, take part in amusements. Additionally, there will be entertainment for kids.
The organizers promise: you will be able to enjoy merry Hutsul tunes, good cheese, sweet honey and fine wine.
