In Khust district, hunters opened fire in a residential quarter

An alarm report came from Iza, – the Mediakhust.net informed.

The thing is that the hunting season for pheasants has been opened, and hunters opened fire in a residential quarter.

It was reported by a local resident Dmytro Dovhanich.

"It was about 17.00. There were shots near our house in the village of Iza at Nankivska str., 87!
18 families live there. Many have children. After I had heard 5-7 shots, I ran out of the garage, saw a stunned friend (with a baby in a stroller), shouted at him: "Call the police!"   There were several more neighbors on the balcony of the upper floor, they said that there were seven hunters.  I ran to grab my phone. The shooters began to flee. I caught up with them in the field. Their leader began to threaten me. The discussion was long… I explained to them that we had small children who could have played on the field near the house! They told me that I had no right to this land, that this was their land", – the man said.

The police arrived in 45 minutes. By that time, the hunters were gone. According to Mr. Dmytro, the ranger was threatening him.
