In July, the minimum and maximum pensions will increase

On July 1, the bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine will recalculate pensions due to the increase of the subsistence minimum. During the briefing, the deputy head of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region Halyna Maslyakevich explained which of Transcarpathian pensioners will receive increased payments.

Pensions will increase for the Transcarpathians, who currently receive payments in the amount of 1373 (minimum) to 1435 hryvnias and do not have the required length of service (25 years for men and 20 years for women, if the pension was appointed before 1.10.2011, and respectively, 30 and 35 years for women and men, if the pension was appointed after this date), – H. Maslyakevich said. The number of such pensioners in our region is more than 30 thousand, or 12 per cent of the total amount. After recalculation, their pension will be at least UAH 1435 per month. That is, the maximum increase will be 62 hryvnias.

For those, who receive pensions in excess of 1452 hryvnias, there will be no changes.

At the same time, the maximum pension is also to be revised in July: it increases from 13730 to 14350 hryvnias. To date, there are 99 pensioners receiving payments at the level of 10 subsistence minimums in the region.

Meanwhile, another increase in pensions due to the increase in the subsistence minimum is expected this year – on December 1 (to UAH 1497).
Recalculation of pensions will be carried out automatically, pensioners do not need to apply to the Pension Fund bodies, – H. Maslyakevich emphasized.
