Yesterday morning, a doctor of Beregovo Central District Hospital reported to Beregovo District Police that an ambulance had delivered to them from the private small farm located in the village of Male Popovo in Beregovo district a 31-year-old man with injuries in the form of multiple puncture wounds of the back and abdomen. The citizen is in serious condition in the intensive care unit of Beregovo CDH. Law enforcement officers found out that about four in the morning, a 43-year-old resident of the village, the guard at the farm, had heard a strange sound from the building, where sheep were kept. He took a pitchfork and decided to find out what was going on. Approaching the utility room, the guard noticed the silhouette of an unknown citizen and in fear struck him twice with the pitchfork.
During the inspection of the scene, the police found the said pitchfork, a jacket, a shirt and pants with traces of blood. The guard confessed to having committed the criminal offense.
