In the evening on November 10, an accident occurred in Beregovo district. The rescue service received the report of it at 21:45. According to preliminary information, on the road between the villages of Velyki Beregy and Nyzhni Remety, the driver of a car "VAZ 2107" lost control, drove into oncoming traffic and collided with a car "Audi A6". As a result of the collision, the former car slewed on the road, and the latter slid into a ditch.
At the site of an accident, where the crew of the 12th State Fire and Rescue unit arrived, it turned out that in the car "VAZ 2107", there was only the driver who had died at the scene. Using special equipment, rescuers removed his body from the twisted car. The driver of the "Audi A6" was not injuried and did not need medical care. Instead, his female passenger was hospitalized with polytrauma in Beregovo central district hospital.
Law enforcement authorities are establishing detailed circumstances of the accident.
