In a pit on Mytrak street, they planted… potatoes (PHOTOS)

In winter, our publication informed about a dangerous pit – or rather, an open sewer near Bakoniy lane (on Mytrak street) in the article "Journalists filled a pit with snow."

We then packed it tightly, but that was saving Uzhgorod residents from injuries only until the snow melted.

Probably, in other seasons, this dangerous pit was bothering people too, and as a result, forced them to deal with the problem themselves. Now the pit, it should be noted, is covered and not dangerous. But the solution to the problem was quite interesting: they planted potatoes in the sewere and, accroding to our observations, soon it will be ready for harvesting.

Quite a strange solution, but it’s better than letting someone get inguried.
