In 2013 the emergency medical aid must be fast

As part of reforming healthcare industry, there is the issue of preparation for emergency medical care. As the Deputy Governor Ivan Kachur noted during today’s briefing, the improvement of it must begin already on January 1, 2013. In this regard, the particular attention will be focused on creating Transcarpathian regional center for medical care, which all other units will be subject to.
Also a single dispatch office is planned to be arranged there, which will control all emergency medical help. 100,000 UAH have been allocated for this purpose.  "To improve its work, we have invited experts to develop a GPS-navigation system throughout the region. Soon ambulances in the city of Uzhgorod, as well as Uzhgorod, Perechyn and V. Berezny districts will be equipped with it", – said Ivan Kachur.
In the new year, according to the Deputy Governor, in cities ambulance must come to call no later than in 10 minutes and in rural areas – no later than in 20 minutes. "Our technical facilities can ensure this, the only problem is poor condition of roads in the region."
