When crossing the borders of the Customs Union motorists have to check their medical kits.
Legislations of Ukraine and the Customs Union have some differences that may cause unintentional offense by individuals, travelling to Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan by personal vehicles. The drug "butorphanol tartrate", which is mandatory in medical first aid kits, that are sold in Ukraine, is included to the Common list of goods, prohibited or restricted for export or import by member states of the Customs Union within the Eurasian Economic Union in trade with third countries. In this regard, travelers should to be careful when crossing the border of the Customs Union.
