We recently announced the holding of the "Hutsul bryndzya" festival in Rakhiv, and then informed about possible cancellation of the holiday. The head of the region Hennadiy Moskal made a final decision in this matter.
Hennadiy Moskal inspected the course of reconstruction works in Rakhiv, part of which was flooded due to heavy rainfall of August 17. The city center has already been cleared of mud due to efforts of the district state administration, the Rakhiv forestry and the State Emergencies Service. Now the repair of the damaged infrastructure on the road "Rakhiv – Kosivska Polyana – Kobyletska Polyana" is underway.
– The collapsed bridge over the Burkut stream will be ready in the near future, and the road, where necessary, will be repaired by the regional road service, – H. Moskal noted. – If the mayor of Kyiv Klitschko managed to prepare the center of Kyiv for the festive parade after a heavy shower that flooded Khreshchatyk, the mayor of Rakhiv Medvid during the disaster wento into hibernation, and then decided not to participate in the "Hutsul bryndzya". We are not going to force anyone to come to the festival, but "Hutsul bryndzya" will be held on September 2, as planned. This is the best festival in Transcarpathia, so its delay, let alone cancellation, is out of the question.
The Regional State Administration issued the order for the head of the Rakhiv District State Administration Pavlo Basarab to ensure the holding of the festival "Hutsul bryndzya" on September 2, and the Department of Culture of the RSA to facilitate the organization of the holiday.
