Hungary ratified the Association Agreement with Ukraine

Hungarian Parliament ratified the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.

This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin in his Twitter.

 

According to the Twitter of the Embassy of Ukraine to Hungary, 139 deputies voted for this decision, 5 voted against it.

Earlier, on November 26, the Minister of Foreign Affairs also announced that the parliament of Sweden had ratified the Association Agreement.

In addition to Hungary and Sweden, the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union has been ratified by Estonia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia, Malta and Romania.

On September 16, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the European Parliament simultaneously ratified the document.

On November 1, the so-called provisional application of the Association Agreement began.
