Last night, four ambulances and one fire truck arrived from Hungary to the customs post "Luzhanka" of Chop customs as a humanitarian aid to the population of Transcarpathia. The recipient of these vehicles is the office of the Transcarpathian Reformed Church in Beregove. The sender of humanitarian vehicles is the Hungarian repair, service, manufacturing and trading company from the capital of Hungary – Budapest.
According to the head of the post "Luzhanka" Mykhailo Kolotylo, customs clearance of the specified humanitarian goods was carried out by inspectors without payment of customs duties, as provided by national law. The receiver of the goods presented customs officers the decision of the Commission on humanitarian aid in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on recognition of the goods as humanitarian aid. Also the confirmation of the Regional Commission on recognition of these cars as humanitarian aid were provided. So Chop customs officers cleared the vehicles on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border and sent them to the internal unit for the final processing of all required documents.
From the recipient of humanitarian aid, we learned that one ambulance will be sent to service settlements of Uzhgorod and Mukachevo district, and 2 vehicles – to Beregove district. The fire truck will go to Mukachevo district – informed Victoria Senhetovska, spokeswoman for the Chop customs.
