Hungary closes its borders to foreigners from September 1

Citizens returning from abroad will also be placed in a two-week quarantine, but they can avoid it if they provide two negative tests for coronavirus.

In addition, exceptions for entry into the country will be made for military convoys and humanitarian transit, as well as for business or diplomatic trips.
