By the beginning of 2015, Hungary and Slovakia will have built joint gas communication system which will give additional capability for reverse supply of gas to Ukraine.
This was stated by the head of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Peter Syiarto, the "RIA Novosti" reported.
"I told my colleagues that the communication system between the gas pipelines of Slovakia and Hungary will be ready by the beginning of the next year, which will give us additional capabilities to supply gas to Ukraine, if need be," – Syiarto told reporters after the debate on Ukraine at the meeting of foreign ministers of the EU member countries.
Earlier, Ukraine received assurances that Slovakia will fulfill all obligations on reverse gas supplies.
