Hungarians handed over to Transcarpathia medical equipment to 57 family clinics and paramedic and obstetric posts

Recently, we reported that the Government of Hungary decided to allocate the medical facilities necessary for the work of family doctors in Transcarpathia

And today, representatives of the Hungarian government handed over to the Transcarpathian regional organization of the "Red Cross" a humanitarian aid of equipment for 57 family outpatient clinics and paramedic and obstetric posts of the region.

The total cost of the humanitarian aid is more than 120 thousand euros (about 4 million hryvnia). The list of equipment includes: modern computers with software, tonometers, ophthalmoscopes and otoscopes, sugar, cholesterol meters, scales for babies, refrigerators for storage of medical products, refrigerator bags for vaccines and other equipment.

On the Hungarian party, the event was attended by István Hrezha, the authorized representative of the Government of Hungary, and heads of two consular offices working in the region. Transcarpathia was represented by Hennadiy Moskal and People’s Deputy Vasyl Brenzovych, who initiated this humanitarian action, the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration reported.
