On Friday, February 13, the head of the region Vasyl Hubal conducted the telephone conference with the participation of heads of district state administrations, cities of the regional subordination and representatives of military commissariats. The topic was the perfomance of the tasks of the central authorities regarding the next wave of mobilization, the press service of the RSA informed.
After hearing a summary of the regional military commissar Ivan Vasyltsyun, Vasyl Hubal raised problematic issues of the mobilization process: inadmissibility of abuse, such as manipulations with documents, etc, which have occured in the region.
The head of the RSA stressed that such incidents, if not adequately responded to by the heads of districts and cities, would lead to his personnel decisions regarding the responsible officials. The head of the Regional State Administration also stressed on the issue of coordination: he demanded to ensure coordinated cooperation of the government, military and related services, and greater advocacy with communities. In particular, the head of the region emphasized the role of the police, who do not fully carry out their tasks in relation to mobilization.
Vasyl Hubal criticized the inaction of the government and local services and called to immediately correct the situation, gave instructins to the responsible persons in the districts and cities. Among other things, he stressed on the need to bring to justice those managers who fire people, who have received calls, in particular through "backdating."
Summarizing the meeting, the head of the region said: "Transcarpathia is a part of Ukraine, just like other regions. Heads of districts and cities, resposible officials! I beg you not to worry about you posts – I beg to worry about the future of the country. Therefore, I demand from everyone to do the work that we have been commissioned by the state." "Every day I talk to our courageous Transcarpathians – soldiers, including volunteers – and I am proud of them. I am sure that there are patriots in every town and village in Transcarpathia", – Vasyl Hubal said.
