On 28 and 29 of December, 2016, the electronic payment system of the National Bank will be working in extended banking day mode, two hours longer.
On 30 of December, 2016, until 13:00, all the participants of the EPS (electronic payment system) can make payments in the EPS only between banking institutions subordinated to the same entity, as well as payments to the National Bank of Ukraine and the State Treasury Service of Ukraine.
The National Bank of Ukraine and bodies of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine can make payments to all participants of the EPS. Banking day in the EPS ends at 15:00.
On 2 and 9 of January, 2017, the EPS, e-mail system of the National Bank of Ukraine, the Depository of the National Bank of Ukraine, the System of deposit certificate registration, the System of verification of agreements on the interbank currency market of Ukraine of the National Bank, the system of purchase and sales of credits in the national currency on the interbank credit market of Ukraine "CredInfo2", the Automated information system "Register of contracts with non-residents 2" will not be working.
On January 3, 2017, banks will be working without customers and performing a set of works related to the beginning of the new financial year. Interbank transfers through EPS on that day will not be carried out.
On 4-6 and 10 of January, 2017, the EPS and the banking system of Ukraine will be working normally.
From 30 of December 2016 through 4 of January 2017, the official hryvnia exchange rate as set by the National Bank of Ukraine on December 29, 2016 will be effective.
In the period from 31 of December 2016 through 9 of January, 2017, banks must ensure functioning of ATMs.
