"The story of the two dogs, that got into trouble on the railway in Uzhgorod district, had a happy ending. Lucy (the girl injured by a train) and Panda (the brother of Lucy, who was staying by her side for two days) have found their owners – residents of the village of Tyihlash near Uzhgorod. Or, more accurately, the owners found the dogs thanks to the volunteers engaged in animal protection.
As it turned out, during the two days, more than forty trains drove on the track, which the wounded dog was lying on! All that time, Panda was keeping Lucy warm and guarding her. Veterinarians diagnosed the dogs with bruises, concussion and swelling, fortunately, there were no serious injuries.
Today I presented the staff of the NGO "Help a Friend", which rescued the dogs, the honorary award – "Golden Transcarpathian Bear." For helping stray animals, and for this New Year story with a happy ending.
I, personally, have to admit that people in similar situations, unfortunately, do not always behave with the same dignity. And in case of politicians, their behavior is the opposite – they would rather push a person under a train. Therefore, the allegiance, loyalty and mutual assistance showed by the two dogs from Uzhgorod district must be an example for the people!" – this is stated on the page of Hennadii Moskal on FACEBOOK.
