Has Pogorelov “jumped off” of the EU subject?

"The Mayor Victor Pogorelov commented that he supports the association with the EU, but only on terms favorable for Ukraine, but not for a third party or the EU" – such message has come from the City Council.

Obviously, this should be considered a statement by the mayor…

Also, in the letter, they emphasize this fact: October 24, 2013, at the meeting of the twentieth session of Uzhgorod City Council of the VI convocation it was decided to support the statement of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "On the realization of Ukraine’s European aspirations and signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union."

This is probably a response to those indifferent deputies who are initiating the convention of an extraordinary session of the city council and have sent the mayor signatures of the deputies requesting it. There are enough signatures to convene the meeting, but the Mayor has not infromed if it will be held tomorrow.
