"Four Dimensions" is the title of an exhibition of works by four Uzhgorod artists, members of the National Academy of Arts and the Association of Creative Women of Transcarpathia, teachers of the departments of fine arts and design of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts Odarka Dolgosh-Sopko, Olena Kondratyuk, Lyudmila Korzh-Radko and Nadia Ponomarenko, that opened in late November in the T. Shevchenko National Museum in Kyiv and lasted until December 8.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine. Vasyl Stus, the director of the T. Shevchenko National Museum, said that they are always happy to see exhibitions of artists from other regions of Ukraine. According to Odarka Dolgosh-Sopko, the visitors appreciated the exhibition, because "it is a different art, a different school, themes, techniques, manner of performance". "People are still sending greetings, photos. And those who did not make it to the opening, visited the exhibition later, and send feedback by e-mail. It’s very nice,” – the artist says.
Uzhgorod artists have presented their works at numerous cultural and art projects in Ukraine and abroad. Although their works are different, but in the general display, they create the unity of contemporary Transcarpathian art.
"Four Dimensions" traveled from the capital to Zhytomyr – to "Hnatyuk Art Center".
