For the first time in 90 years: Uzhgorod is modernizing water utilities

The city is replacing water supply and drainage systems, machines and service equipment. Over the past few years, water losses have been significantly reduced here. The quality was improved and round-the-clock water supply was provided.

The pumping and filtering station that supplies water to the central part of Uzhgorod is being reconstructed for the first time in the last 90 years. Extremely obsolete equipment is being replaced with a new, energy efficient one. This will not only reduce electricity consumption, but also improve water purification.
