First spring star of Uzhgorod photo shoots – magnolia (PHOTOS)

On her Facebook page, Alla Hayatova called the magnolia, which grows and blossoms on the streets and in courtyards in Uzhgorod, and not just in the botanical garden, a competitor to the sakura.⠀

– The tree flowers early, before the appearance of leaves, thus it is the first to adorn the city after winter. All shades of white and pink – from the color of fresh snow to purple; gentle and at the same time large and dense petals: magnolia is beautiful!⠀

Sakura is related to Japan, and magnolia – to China. At least, the legend attributes the origin of the tree to that country.  ⠀

In fact, the magnolia appeared in Cretaceous, when the Earth was ruled by dinosaurs: 140 million years ago. But there is a place for poetry in life: according to a legend, girls left the magnolia a part of their hearts, and the flower is indeed warm, the temperature inside is higher by 10 degrees.

In Uzhgorod, magnolia is the first spring star of photo shoots. And, admit it, quite deservedly so!
