Financial result of Transcarpathian entities before taxation for January-September 2014 amounted to UAH 479.0 million of losses vs UAH 158.6 million of profit in the corresponding period of 2013, the experts of the Department of Economic Development and Trade of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration informed.
Profitable enterprises received UAH 726.4 million of profit vs UAH 473.1 million in January-September 2013. The share of unprofitable enterprises is 30.7% (last year’s figure is 34.0%). The amount of losses is UAH 1.2054 billion vs UAH 314.5 million for the same period in the last year.
Last year, the region mobilized taxes and duties (mandatory payments and customs revenues) to the state and local budgets excluding refund of value added tax, including the own revenues of budgetary institutions in the amount of UAH 4874.0 million, representing 115.1% of the 2013.
Own revenues to the Pension Fund (excluding single contribution for obligatory state social insurance) in 2014 increased compared to the corresponding period of 2013 by 8.2% and amounted to UAH 19.4 million. The year revenue plan was fulfilled at 122.8%.
The nominal average salary of a person employed in the regional economy, in November 2014 was 2,847 UAH, which is 11.7% more than that in the corresponding month of the previous year. Wages in the region exceeded the statutory minimum wage for the working population (1,218 UAH) by 2.3 times.
As of December 1, 2014, the arrears of wages in the region amounted to UAH 4.1 million and compared to the beginning of the year decreased by 50.3%, however compared to the previous month, the figure increased by 3.8%.
As of the beginning of 2015, 10,041 unemployed people were registered at the employment agency, which is 15.2% more than that on the same date last year. In 2014 21,097 people were employed, which is 5.1% less than that in the previous year, the Department of Economic Development and Trade of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration informed.
