Finally extinguished! (PHOTOS)

In Vynogradiv, rescuers eliminated the long-lasting fire at the landfill.

On the morning of August 21, Transcarpathian firefighters extinguished the fire at the landfill of Vynogradiv Production Department of Housing and Communal Services. The fire was finally eliminated at 7:55.

Recall that the report about the fire on Leizman street in Vynogradiv was received by the rescue service on August 14 at 17:01. The localization of the fire was reported the next day at 14:57. Complete elimination of the fire took much longer as layers of waste were burning at the depth of 6-7 meters.

In total, 10 fire engines were engaged to extinguish the fire – 5 tankers 6th State Fire and Rescue Unit of the city of Vynogradiv, 2 trucks of the 10th State Fire and Rescue Unit of the city of Khust, and three vehicles of local fire brigades of the village of Pidvynogradiv, the town of Korolevo and the village of Oleshnyk. In addition, the auxiliary equipment of Vynogradiv PDHCS and several private companies was engaged.
