Fake Israeli passport did not help to cross the border

Last night, during the border control of the train "Zahony-Chop", border guards detained a man who was trying to get to Ukraine illegally.

While checking passports of passengers, who had arrived from Hungary to Ukraine by the specified train, the border guards of the "Chop" department had suspisions about one of the travelers. The fact is that the man presented the passport of a citizen of Israel, which caused suspicions of possible forgery. The commission for in-depth examination of the document was established and special means of border control were used. As a result of this work, "Green Berets" determined that the document had been forged by replacing the page elements with the personal data.

The offender was arrested for attempt to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine. His further fate will be decided in court – the press service of the Chop border guard detachment informed.
