Experts of Uzhgorod City Council discussed the state of affairs regarding COVID-19 with colleagues from Darmstadt

Representatives of the municipality from the twin city of Uzhgorod – Darmstadt, Germany, proposed to develop a project proposal for information and technical support of medical and educational institutions of Uzhgorod to overcome the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. 
  
It will be designed to receive funding from the Engagement Global gGmbH / Kommunales Corona-Solidarpaket (Corona Municipal Solidarity Package) programme. 
This was recently discussed at an online meeting of employees of the Department of International Cooperation and Innovation of the Uzhgorod City Council with colleagues from Darmstadt and representatives of the NGO "Partner Association Darmstadt – Uzhgorod" "Darmstadter Haus Darmstadt House". 
They discussed the state of affairs regarding COVID-19 in both cities, new initiatives for cooperation in health care, youth policy and cooperation with civil society institutions by improving communication channels and information exchanges, and further cooperation between the communities of our cities.
