On March 11, at 16.00, the personal exhibition of amateur artist, member of the Mizhhirya District Union of Artist "Carpathian Colors" will open in the exhibition hall of the museum.
He was born on November 22, 1941 in the village of Kelechin in Mizhhirya district. He graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics of the Uzhgorod State University, worked as a mathematics teacher at Iza Secondary School, for a long time headed the pedagogical staff of this school (before retirement in 1994). In his spare time, he paints the beautiful Verkhovyna with oil paints and brushes.
He has participated in many exhibitions in the city of Uzhgorod, Kyiv, and also in the city of Synevyr, Synevyrska Polyana. He is an active participant of almost all plein airs organized by the artist association "Carpathian Colors" in Synevyr, Synevyrska Polyana, Pylypets of Mizhhirya district, in Rakhiv, Svalyava and Velyky Berezny districts.
The artist’s paintings are kept in collections of art galleries in the cities of Kropyvnytsky and Mukachevo, in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Armenia, the Baltic countries, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, the Netherlands, the USA and Canada.
