1-15 January – The annual exhibition of the Society of Hungarian artists of Transcarpathia named after I. Reves in the Uzhgorod Art Museum. The exhibition presents works by Laszlo Magyar, Robert Tovt, Dyerd Rishko, Dyerd Benke, Francisk Erfan, Janos Reyti, Evra Mihai, Attila Kopryva, Berets Margarita, Agnes Kulin, Veresh Ahota, Erica Kalitich, Laszlo Kolozhvari, Janos Klisa, Laszlo Sochka, Natalia Grabar, Guidi Endre, Guidi Endre (Jr.).  The exhibition will run until January 18, 2013.

2 -3 January – New Year’s sideshow "Witch Tricks for New Year’s Ball." Venue: Transcarpathian Academic Puppet Theater "Bavka" Teatralna Sq., 8, Uzhgorod. Beginning at 11.00, 13.00.

4 – 5 January – In the Transcarpathian Regional State Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater there will be the performance of the Great Chinese Circus.

During two days, the troupe will give four performances. The beginning: at 12 and 15 o’clock, respectively. Cost of tickets: from 50 to 150 UAH. Address: Tolstoy st., 12.

January 5 – Competition "Merry Starts". Venue: The Park of Culture and Rest "Bozdosky" in Uzhgorod. The beginning: at 11.00.

January 8

13.00 – Christmas carols singing. Venue:Teatralna sq., Uzhgorod.

17.00 – Great festive Christmas concert. Venue: Greek-Catholic Cathedral, Kapitulna st., Uzhgorod.
