Employees of the Mukachevo vocational are suing the Ministry of Education and the government

The vocational school teachers made this decision during a meeting with local authorities. Currently, there is a social tension because the President has not signed the law on the financing of vocational schools. Back on February 4, MPs adopted a law that provides for allocation of funds to finance vocational training from the state treasury. This law was supported by 304 MPs. The law was sent to the President on February 9, but it still has not been signed.

Employees of the vocational school expressed their willingness to challenge in court the inaction of the givernment, because the law has not been signed.  Also, the staff plan to sue the Ministry of Education for unpaid wages.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, funding is not provided for 78 institutions of vocational education in 33 cities of 14 regions.
