In Mukachevo Orphanage there was the announcement of the results of the charity campaign "Bachelor Auction", jointly held by the newspaper "Panorama" and the Internet publication "Panorama Mukacheva" within the special project "The most desirable bachelor of Mukachevo."
On that day, the organizers, eligible bachelors of the city and philanthropists, who joined the fundraising, visited the orphanage. They were met in the yard of the educational institution by its long-time director Vasyl Markulin. After a brief excursion into the history of the institution, the director of the orphanage offered a tour and showed them how pupils live and how the rehabilitation facilities are arranged.
In the hall, the school pupils and staff were already waiting for the guests. The first to speak was the director of the institution Vasyl Markulin, who was impressed.
"At a time when Ukraine is in a very difficult situation where the State is unable to fully care for orphans, it is important that there are people who help", – Vasul Markulin said.
After that, one of the organizers, the chief editor of the online publication "Panorama Mukacheva" Ivan Harahonych addressed the audience.
"Our special project proved that there is a place for good deeds in the world. We were able to organize and conduct entertaining and charity project. This is the achievement of the publications’ staff and, above all, our bachelors. It should be noted that without them, their initiatives, financial assistance, we could hardly have organized the campaign so efficiently," – he said.
Ivan Harahonych gave the director of the institution a brand new tennis table and all the necessary sports equipment. It was purchased for the funds raised at the "Bachelor Auction". Three winners were awarded with diplomas.
In the end, the management of the orphanage and bachelors agreed to hold a table tennis tournament with the participation of journalists, bachelors and of course the orphanage pupils.
