Eagle Diana will “fly” to the Synevyr

We continue to follow the fate of the bird, which yesterday was seized from the "animator", who  offered people to take pictures with the beautiful predator.

Animal rights activists temporarily took the eagle, which the "slave-owner" called Diana, to the Transcarpathian regional ecological and naturalistic center of student youth in order to find out the legality of keeping the rare bird in private hands and to decide on its further fate.

While heated discussions continue in the social networks – whether what they did with the eagle is considered an abuse, we already have news from the NGO FORZA. Animal rights advocates reported that the bird was examined by experts, and a teacher of UzhNU Ludwig Potish believes that Diana belongs to a rare species of imperial eagle.

By the way, the documents shown by the "owner" of the bird were analyzed, and experts say that they are illegal, as well as the keeping of the eagle listed in the Red Book, although the police called to Teatralna Square "did not see an offense".

Soon, the eagle will go to the "Synevyr" National Park to the Rehabilitation Center for Prey Birds, which was opened there recently, near the famous "bear resort".
