During the first 9 months of this year, 8,000 Transcarpathians have been employed

Tuesday, October 5, there was a meeting of the Board of the Department of Social Protection of the Regional State Administration. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Head of the region Ivan Kachur, the head of the Social Protection Department of the Regional State Administration Victor Matsola, heads and representatives of departments.

         They discussed the issues of employment, wages, housing subsidies, providing quality services to needy segments of the population, disabled veterans and victims of the Chernobyl disaster.

Thus, the Head of the Social Protection Department Victor Matsola reported that during the first half of 2013, the activities of the department were aimed at the implementation of tasks to improve the situation on the labor market, living standards, resolving the issue of domestic violence prevention and the provision of social services by the "single window" method.

According to the program of employment in Transcarpathian region until 2017, in January-September 2013, 18 thousand new jobs were created in the region. Almost 8 thousand registered unemployed persons were employed. Four thousand people took vocational training, 2.5 thousand people participated in temporary works. The best employment indicators were recorded in the town of Chop, as well as Perechyn and Tyachiv districts.

   

           In January – September 2013, 129,789 families benefited from various kinds of public assistance, which is 12,178 families more than in the same period of the last year. Total charges for all types of payments for this period amounted to 1167.4 million hryvnias, which is 206.07 million hryvnias more than that in the last year.
