Of course, it is an individual question, and the absence of books and locked doors in book-crossing points on Svoboda Avenue and Voloshin Street are not indicators. However, the initiators of these locations in Uzhgorod expected different results…
"Street book" in Transcarpathian region was opened in September last year. At the opening, books were left there for those, who read, by authors. Librarians also provided books for sharing. But now the points, that should be "working" constantly offering new interesting books, are locked.
People eventually took all the books, forgetting or not knowing that other already read books should be left there. So, the doors to the locations, where Uzhgorod citizens could exchange books, are now locked, and there are no books in them…
