In Uzhhorod, divers were searching for a fisherman who left home and went missing. On September 17, at 11:00, the State Emergency Service (SES) received a request from the police to involve divers in the search for a missing man at the address: Uzhhorod, Kanalna Street.
According to preliminary information, the man left for a fishing trip on September 14 but did not return home. The search operations continued until 16:00 but the fisherman was not found. The search has been temporarily suspended while the police investigate the circumstances, and it will resume later.
The diving-rescue unit of the Uzhhorod Emergency Rescue Special Task Force was involved in the search.
