“Dialogue with the government” continues. Now – in Mizhhirya district

On Thursday, August 8, as part of the project "Dialogue with the state," the deputy head of the region Ivan Kachur was personally receiving residents of Mizhhirya district. The official received more than 20 people.

 Among the issues of concern to local residents, the major ones were the allocation of financial aid for treatment, improvment of housing conditions, housing recovery after a fire.  Also, village heads raised the issue of expanding of preschool education and heads of villages of Maidan and Liskovets addressed the problems of roads and passenger transportation to the settlements. A Mr. Ivan from the village of Soima asked to assist in purchasing a wheelchair, and Mrs. Ina from the village of Nehrovets asked to provide hearing aids for her child.   Issues that need further study were forwarded to structural subdivisions of the regional state administration for a thorough examination.

– Every resident of Transcarpathia should be heard and their problems should be solved. Most of the complaints received by the regional administration concern social issues. People are concerned about problems of health and educational sectors.    So our duty is to duly consider all complaints, requests, suggestions and find solutions to all relevant issues, adjusting plans, attracting additional funding, initiating consideration of problems between the central authorities, – Ivan Kachur summed up.
