Yesterday, at about 19.00, the police received a report of a road accident with victims on the section of the M-06 highway Kyiv-Chop, in the village of Barvinok.
At the scene of the accident, patrol policemen found out that a 30-year-old driver of a Skoda Octavia had violated the maneuvering rules, failed to maintain a safe distance and ran into a Daewoo Nexia.
As a result of the collision, the Daewoo Nexia turned upside down. Passengers of both vehicles and the driver of the Daewoo were injured.
The culprit in the accident admitted that he had been drinking alcohol shortly before the drive.
Patrol policemen called an ambulance, rescuers and the investigative team at the scene.
