Details of the incident that happened yesterday in one of the kindergartens in Uzhgorod have been revealed

The mother of the injured boy shared the details of the situation, that developed yesterday in one of the city’s kindergartens, with Pershij.com.ua. 
The woman said that at about 10:48, a teacher called her and asked if she could take her son to the hospital. The teacher avoided answering the questions about what happened. 
"When I came, he was screaming in pain and there was peroxide wad on his finger. I wanted to see what it was but I was told not to do that because, they said, it could get infected. I asked what it was and I was told that it was nothing just a detached nail. The wad was all soaked with blood. On the way I wanted to look, but my son did not let me and he was just screaming constantly. 
The victim’s mother said that the kindergarten staff had not called an ambulance. She found out later how the child had been injured. 
"According to my son, another boy shut him in the bedroom, and when my son wanted to come out, this boy slammed the door shut and crushed his finger." 
The mother and son immediately went to the hospital, and there they could finally see the injuries the 4-year-old boy had suffered. 
"When the doctor began to examine him, he removed the wad and saw that the fingertip was completely cut off along with the bone and was holding only on a thin piece of skin. It was not just the nail that was detached, but the whole part of the finger with the nail plate. Honestly, it was a shock… I had never seen such a thing… The doctor promptly sent us to pediatric surgery and we ran there." 
Because of the injuries, doctors decided to operate on the child. 
The woman noted that the management of the kindergarten had not even called and had not asked about their pupil condition. However, after the incident was covered by local media, the management called the mother of the victim boy. 
"Today I have been called many times, they cried and apologized… Asked to settle the matter amicably… I’m still thinking about it. The director believes that it is nothing and he simply lost his nail. She won’t hear me and denies it was amputation". 
Currently, the 4-year-old boy has been provided with all necessary medical care. 
Recall that the incident happened on December 2. At around 2 p.m., an Uzhgorod resident turned to the police and reported that his four-year-old son had injured his hand while in kindergarten. According to the father, the pupils of the institution were alone, without the tutor’s supervision.
