“Denunciation” by Transcarpathian writer Oleksandr Havrosh is already in the “Akademia”

The novel released by the "Publishing Center "Akademia" is about the crackdown of the famous Brotherhood of Cyril and Methodius. It is about the psychology of deceit and betrayal, insidiousness that changed the lives of all members of the society forever. The main focus of the story is not Shevchenko, as it may seem at first glance, but Oleksiy Petrov – a police informer who knows nothing about dignity and honor. The second-year student has not seen much in life, he is corrupted by envy provoked by unrequited love and his financial situation. Being among the people, who at that time were the nucleus of the intelligentsia, Petrov chose a path that, in his opinion, would put everyone at the right places. The denunciation changes everything in the life of Kostomarov, Gulak, Shevchenko, Kulish, Bilozersky, Andruzky. They were in the prime of their lives, had good career prospects, loved ones. And one piece of paper from an unremarkable student changes everything.
