Czechs are helping to make the Carpathians safe

Czech rescuers presented the Emergency and Rescue unit of TD of MOE in Transcarpathian region two so-called Austrian carts. This device is intended to transport victims from inaccessible areas. The official website of the Ministry reported that two similar devices had been already delivered to the Crimean rescuers. And for Transcarpathian rescuers, assistance from and cooperation with Czech colleagues is an old and beneficial for both parties tradition.

The meeting on October 19 was held within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic cooperation development project, so the gifts to Transcarpathian rescuers were brought by the Consul General of the Czech Republic in Lviv David Pavlita.

According to the head of the Territorial Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies in Transcarpathian region Anton Zelinsky, help and support of foreign colleagues ensures that the Carpathians are becoming safer for Ukrainian and foreign tourists.
