Uzhgorod police arrested two sisters who had been robbing careless city residents, the site of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
Both offenders had repeatedly fell to the attention of police officers, because they had committed thefts before. They would go door-to-door begging. They would pull the handle of the door to a house, and if the door was unlocked, they would quietly come in and steal anything they could see – wallets, phones, purses and other valuables.
Thieves, who were detained after the complaint of a 60-year-old resident of Uzhgorod, who was robbed this time, were two unemployed Roma sisters aged 15 and 20 years. They have committed crimes not only in Uzhgorod, but also in other regions of Ukraine.
