COVID-19: the situation as of the morning of May 31 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia and Ukraine

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1189 persons have been diagnosed with COVID-19, of whom 267 are health care workers, 76 are children

According to the Transcarpathian Regional Center for Public Health, as of the morning of Saturday, May 31:

405 Transcarpathians, who had PCR-confirmed coronavirus, have recovered 

28 people with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 have died 

As of the morning of May 31, 12042 PCR tests for COVID-19 have been performed in the region, 253 in the past 24 hours.

As of the morning of May 31, 385 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

191 people have recovered  

6 persons have died.

21 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 168 are on outpatient treatment

165 Uzhgorod citizens are in self-isolation 
 
In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have made 1 visit, 30 samples of biological materials have been collected for polymerase chain reaction test. In total, since the onset of the disease, 426 visits have been made, 2328 samples of biological materials have been collected for PCR tests.

According to the Public Health Center, as of 9:00 am on May 31, there have been 23672 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 708 were fatal, 9538 patients have recovered. During the day, 468 new cases were confirmed. Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in:   
Vinnytsia region – 993 cases; 
Volyn region – 908 cases; 
Dnipropetrovsk region – 942 cases; 
Donetsk region – 163 cases; 
Zhytomyr region – 739 cases; 
Transcarpathian region – 1189 cases; 
Zaporizhzhya region – 444 cases; 
Ivano-Frankivsk region – 1402 cases; 
Kirovohrad region – 511 cases; 
Kyiv – 2985 cases; 
Kyiv region – 1573 cases; 
Lviv region – 1669 cases; 
Luhansk region – 47 cases; 
Mykolaiv region – 293 cases; 
Odesa region – 888 cases; 
Poltava region – 270 cases; 
Rivne region – 1713 cases; 
Sumy region – 168 cases; 
Ternopil region – 1169 cases; 
Kharkiv region – 1066 cases; 
Kherson region – 178 cases; 
Khmelnytsky region – 444 cases; 
Chernivtsi region – 3349 cases; 
Cherkasy region – 402 cases; 
Chernihiv region – 167 cases. 
The tests were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of May 31, 2020, the Center has received 908 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases.
