COVID-19: the situation as of the morning of June 27 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia and Ukraine

As of the morning of June 27, 544 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

5 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

307 people have recovered  

9 persons have died.
  
13 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 215 are on outpatient treatment.

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have made 10 visits, 99 samples of biological materials have been collected for polymerase chain reaction test. 

In Transcarpathia, a total of 2640 Transcarpathians have been diagnosed with COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 411 are medical workers and 159 are children, according to the Transcarpathian Regional Public Health Center.

926 Transcarpathians who had coronavirus have recovered. In the past 24hrs, nine deaths among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have been reported, and another patient diagnosed with COVID-19 died this morning.

"During the past day, June 26, 398 people sought emergency medical care, 44 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 31 were suspected of having COVID-19," – Olga Chemet, the Deputy Director of the Health Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration said.

As of the morning of June 27, 243202 PCR tests and 2382 ELISA tests for COVID-19 have been performed in the region. Over the past 24hrs, 675 samples of biological materials have been collected and sent to the virology laboratory for PCR testing.

In Ukraine, 948 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the past 24 hours

As of Saturday morning, June 27, 948 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Ukraine in the past 24 hours, and 24 people with confirmed diagnosis have died. This is evidenced by the latest data published on the website of the Coronavirus Epidemic Monitoring System of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).

In total, during the entire period of the epidemic in Ukraine, according to the National Security and Defense Council, 42065 cases of COVID-19 infection have been confirmed. 18701 people have recovered, 1110 people have died.
