COVID-19: the situation as of the morning of July 27 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

33 cases in the past 24 hours and 1 patient died 

During the past day, July 26, 368 people sought emergency medical care, 34 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia, 18 were suspected of having COVID-19.

745 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.

33 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19, 2 of them are medical workers, and 2 are children.

For the past 24hrs, 1 death among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 has been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 172 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died. 

1864 patients have recovered.  

Overall, as of 9:00 am on July 27, 2020, 4874 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 657 are health care workers and 263 are children.

41678 polymerase chain reaction tests and 6951 ELISA tests for COVID-19 have been carried out.

As of the morning of July 19, 778 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

3 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod.

427 people have recovered  

14 persons have died.
  
12 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 325 are on outpatient treatment.

As of 9:00 am on July 27, there have been 65656 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 1616 were fatal, 36112 patients have recovered. During the day, 807 new cases were confirmed.  
 The number of registered active patients as of July 27 is 27918. 
 The largest number of active patients per 100000 inhabitants was registered in Lviv (264.3), Transcarpathian (226.4) regions and in Kyiv (162).   
 The mortality rate in the country is 2.5%. The highest rates were recorded in Kirovohrad (4.9%), Cherkasy (4%), and Chernivtsi (3.8%) regions. 
 4661 children and 8380 health care workers have been diagnosed with the disease 
 During the day, 7064 PCR tests were performed. 970705 PCR tests have been performed in total.
