COVID-19: the situation as of October 1 in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathia, Ukraine

As of the morning of October 1, 1908 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

19 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours in Uzhgorod, 1 person has died.

1129 people have recovered  

26 persons have died.
  
5 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 748 are on outpatient treatment.

In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have collected 117 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction test. 

In Transcarpathia, during the past day, 99 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19.

For the past 24hrs, 1 death among patients diagnosed with COVID-19 has been reported. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 308 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 have died. 

4798 patients have recovered.

670 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected.  

Overall, as of 9:00 am on October 1, 2020, 9918 patients have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of those, 1012 are health care workers and 555 are children.

In Ukraine, 4069 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the past 24 hours

As of October 1, 4069 new cases of infection have been registered in Ukraine. 64 people with confirmed diagnosis have died. 

This is evidenced by the latest data published on the website of the Coronavirus Epidemic Monitoring System of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).

In total, during the entire period of the epidemic in Ukraine, according to the National Security and Defense Council, 213028 cases of COVID-19 infection have been confirmed. 94443 people have recovered, 4193 people have died.

Most new cases were found Kharkiv region (450), Kyiv city (377), Dnipropetrovsk region (266), Odesa region (260), Ternopil region (253), Lviv region (240) and Sumy region (212).
